When I awake in the morning I am usually not hungry but thirsty. So, I drink a ton of live spring water. Sometimes room temperature and sometimes warm with a bit of lemon. That is definitely the priority in the morning for me.

When hunger strikes, which is usually around 10am or noon, I am prepared with a green smoothie or superfood cereal and a green juice. This superfood cereal is really delicious. It keeps me satisfied for many hours. I love topping it with freshly made Brazil nut milk, but any nut milk will be splendid.

Superfood Cereal

1 cup shredded coconut

2T white chia seeds

3T goji berries

2T hemp seeds

1/4t raw vanilla

pinch of Celtic sea salt

I love to make a large batch and keep it in a glass jar for use when I need it.

Combine all ingredients and top with a medley of fresh berries and Brazil nut milk.
