Sprouts are my favorite kind of food. They are the most life giving foods on earth. Sprouted foods are full of life giving enzymes, protein, vitamins and minerals.

Sprouts have been used for centuries in healing modalities across the globe. They are so easy to make at home. I love mung bean sprouts, fenugreek sprouts, adzuki sprouts, lentil sprouts, etc. These are the sprouts that I grow weekly in my kitchen. They are super easy to grow.

I have tried clover, radish, broccoli and onion sprouts with less success. Across my counter top are large planters for sunflower seed sprouts and pea shoot sprouts.

You can grow your own food! Just soak 1/4 cup of seeds in water overnight and drain in the morning. Place a mesh screen over the jar and leave tilted, upside down for two days, rinsing twice daily. It is that easy. Sunflower and pea shoot sprouts require soil to grow the green sprout. I will write more on this at a later date.
